What handgun should I get next?

I have been putting away a little cash for a treat (for me) in the handgun world.
Now I cannot decide what sounds like a winner. I would love to buy them all but nope. Just one. What do you folks suggest?

Without knowing what you have its tough to recommend anything.

But, I think everyone needs a .357 revolver, a 1911, a Beretta 92fs, a Ruger MK series. For range fun.

For CCW either a snub nose revolver, or micro 9mm.

Edit; to add don't buy junk. Buying quality guns saves you in the long run.

Well, an important consideration is what will you do with it? Is it for looking at and collecting and displaying? Or for plinking tin cans? Home protection? Competition?

I should have worded it differently.
Without using parameters I was wondering what the first thought would be to the members if they were in the market to buy.
Mostly wanted to see the variety of thoughts.

Not enough info. I can only say what I would get, and now is not a good time to time to gun shop. Not today any way. There's always tomorrow, GOD willing.

Ruger has started producing SA revolvers this past year in quantity for the first time in about 5 years. If you think you might want one, now is a good time to buy.

You can never have enough 22 pistols, so Ruger Mark IV target or S&W model 41 or Buckmark

If you want to have fun, try collecting every automatic pistol used by every country during WWI.

For me, I'd stock up on more ammo or maybe an accessory or two.
Otherwise, Six Series double actions or the old original Redhawks, in blue.

Freedom Arms 97 in 41 mag

Mine beats the tar out of my middle finger. Using my .41 I have to arrange my hand just so to avoid being whacked and any accuracy I hoped for goes way down unless I am shooting cream puff loads. Other 97/41 owners have the same observation while many have no issues.

In my opinion, this in one revolver / caliber that really should be shot before buying.

If you do not have a .41 either the Super Blackhawk Hunter or S&W 657 are great options.
