The dies are on the way, now for a mold.Next question is what bullet weight do you prefer for deer hunting. I am leaning towards a 195gr swc from Lee,cast from straight ww I am guessing the should be closer to 200grains.I would like to hear some of your thoughts as to bullet weights in this caliber.

I've never hunted with my 41's but I prefer 210 grain for light-duty stuff and 265 grain hardcast for hiking in bear territory. My Redhawk REALLY liked the old, discontinued 210 grain sem-jacketed Speer bullets and I would not hesitate to hunt with them if I hadn't shot all I had!

240-250 gr "LBT" Type, H110 a grain or so under Hodgdons listed max Magnum primer and Starline brass. Excellent accuracy in 4 different guns, 3 Rugers and a Marlin Cowboy 1894, I think it will shoot through just about anything, including the buck in my Avatar.

Don't overload it. If you want to shoot heavier than 240's you'd be better served moving up in diameter.
