Oops,, my mistake. I haven't gotten around to finishing them out yet. Since I already had a pair of grips I'd made,, I just mounted those to start with.

For Ruger SA revolvers I like the wood factory shoes, no plastic, no custom. Tanfoglios get aluminum (if you've ever had a .38 super blow out with wood grips you know why), 1911's get a mish mash but NO G-10, for DA big boomers classic Pachmayr's that cover the back strap are my go to.

One of my SA's came with Chig's, they were eye catching almost gaudy but my palm can't see them and I replaced them with factory laminates.
