How many wives out there would let you decorate like this ?

Mines put up with me for 20 yrs. God love her ! Guns, molds, books, hunting trips, taxidermy bills, and lastly, displaying heads. She says the next one going up will be my head .

I'd love to see some other trophy rooms.

Just to give you guys a better perspective. We built an addition 5-6 years ago. 25'X20' with sub-basement. Tied into the second floor roofline . Used rough cut oak(barnwood) for trim. Also put it where the mounts are to break up the drywall look.

Well, Miss Penny here asked me our first year together; "You have this log cabin,, a big A-frame wall, all those deer horns etc,, why no mounts??" Well, I replied; "In my younger years I couldn't afford having deer mounted,, and I've never gotten around to doing any." She flatly stated; "I want a deer head on the wall."
We now have a Mulie, an Elk, a Whitetail, a Badger, 2 Pheasants, a Mallard, a skull mounted Antelope, several Turkey fans, whitetail horn plaques, & we will have a Bobcat when I pick her up from my taxidermist. Then Miss Penny has actually used camo material to make slip covers for chairs & our sofa.
Gotta love women like that!!!!!

Yep Jeff, we sure did!
Miss Penny wasn't a "gun person" when we met,, and now,, she's one of the strongest fighters for the NRA & gun rights. AND she doesn't mind my Ruger habits!!!! (Heck,, she now has her own collection started.)
I will say that when we first got together,,, she did install pink curtains in the living room for a while. (She didn't like my older ones,, so what the heck.!)

My house isn't large enough for stuff like that, but it was nice to see where all the white tails deer went.
