I carry the Colt occasionally. (To heavy) I carry the Doubletap more. I don't know why the trigger on the Colt looks pink in the picture. It's really flat black. I believe it's aluminum.

I voted none because the .45 acp I carry most is a Springfield XDs. I have 2 1911's
and though I love the 1911, my back just doesn't allow for the 34 to 40 ounce
carry weight compared to the 26 ounces of the XDs.

Colt Wiley Clapp Lightweight Commander in 45 ACP. A close second is a DW Guardian in 38 Super that is being suppressed by agency policies.
With my DW out of the picture I dug out my Ruger SR 1911 Commander in 45 ACP. I will take it to the ranger tomorrow and shoot it again to get used to it and then qualify with it. It is a good standard Commander to practice with to save the lightweight frame from too much abuse.

I carry an S&W M&P Shield in .45acp. The 9mm was okay, but I favored the larger bullets. Takes a little getting used to it. And tugs on the belt a little more. But that's my choice.
