What .45 ACP do you conceal carry most often?

In my opinion, the 1911 is too big for me to "conceal carry". Maybe in the winter I'll carry it on a belt holster concealed by a jacket, but during the spring, summer and fall it's pocket pistols for me... LCR & LCP.

I own a P90 but never carry it. The SR9c, LC9 and LCP are always fighting for who gets to go out with me.

Ok guys, I'm going to have to revisit my earlier anser. I just got one heck of a deal on a Kimber gold match. I stoped by the range on the way home and it's a keeper.

Agreed, and that's why I do carry my SR1911 at every opportunity. I would like to find a slightly newer holster as my Roy's thumb break holster is going on 32+ years old. It's time to update.

kimber pro carry here for me... I dont usually rock the Kimber due to the issue of not having an adequate holster... i will carry in a belt slide styled holster with a longer shirt or jacket when i do though. Looking very hard to find a holster than will work well IWB but not break the bank.

Springfield Compact 45 is in the carry rotation about 5% of the time..

When I can carry a full size gun, I always pick the one below. A much worked over Colt Gold Cup. I`ve had it for over 30 years.
Back about 1990 it needed refinished (holster wear mostly) and decided as long as I was going to have it done, I would have it done up nice with all the bells and whistles.

The nice thing about the 1911's is there are plenty of holsters out there for it.

What .45 ACP do you conceal carry most often? The "NONE" selection doesn't apply to the question and shouldn't be counted. At this point if you subtract the 15 Nones you get 63% carry 1911 .45ACP. :lol:

I agree! Should of had 1911 .45ACP and other .45ACP in the poll and then you could comment on what your other was below. But I think this gives an idea of how many carry .45ACP in a 1911. Just count the rest as other I guess. That would make it 36 1911's and 27 others at the time of this post. 8)

Until I get my New Vaquero Convertible in... I only have one .45acp and it's a Springfield Armory PB9608 Standard .45 Blued... feature-wise, it is between a Mil-Spec & a Loaded model.
It's a lot like a Colt Commander but mine is a series-70 like the Colt Gov'
