so i bought 6 boxes of the Winchester 333 packs from walmart tonight for plinking out of my MarkIII target. $9.97 per box
I was curious what type of round was in the 333 packs so i cracked one open and looked
the box says its a 36 grain HP plated that goes 1280FPS....
the bottom of the actual cartridge says Super X
according to the Winchester website the Super X types do NOT come in a 36grain HP

so i was doing some looking around and found out that the 333 packs only come with this round( from the Winchester site)
"22LR333HP 333 Rounds® 22LR 36 " ( product #, Package , and ammo type)

the stats on that ammo online from Winchester is (22LR333HP)
""Winchester's fastest 22 Long Rifle copper plated 32-grain lead hollow point bullet achieves an ultra-high muzzle velocity of 1,640 feet per

what the box says

vs

what Winchester says

look at the product number it matches up same info as able ammo on other sites like gander MTN,

so any ideas on what round it actually is ?

either way im going to shoot it, just curious.

A 36gr plated HP at 1280fps??? Don't overthink it, Winchester uses the same headstamp on all their rimfire ammo.
