Been in and around the Smoky Mountains for a few days.

Looks like a great day for a ride. We have so many fires going up here now you could well call our mountains the Smokies. The smoke is so bad that just ten minutes of breathing it will drive you right back inside. Long rides are out of the question for now.

Next time you're at that church, take some time to walk straight back behind it, past the graveyard, through the woods and into the clearing. If you're lucky on your timing, there will be a large gathering of deer there. I've walked into that area and seen roughly 70 gathered there, with all of them appearing to be bucks of various ages. We could walk quite close to them, until a bear nearby spoooked them and ended everything! Defintely a good day to ride, from your photos. Nice shots!
