Awesome post.
GOOD FOR YOU FOLKS!!!
Looks like freedom.

BUT.........
Am I the only one who noticed the challenge Jeepnik threw down??
Now that is something I haven't tried yet shooting from my mobility scooter. Mine's a bit taller and quite a bit faster but since I use it more and more these days I probably should practice.
"quite a bit faster"
Apparently he THINKS his ride could whup Franks ass.......:ROFLMAO:.
I'm thinking contender needs to set up a course for these two and
settle this.

Rest assured that I will NOT be racing anyone on my scooter at that range. Small solid wheels and rough ground make going slow the way to travel. I have puts lots of NC dirt on Trigger over the years ... slowly.

As my knees deteriorated I started looking at scooters. Most are small , low to the ground and either three or four wheels. I immediately discounted three wheels. My mom had one years ago and had several tip overs.

That left four wheels and they all were slow, low, and much like a wheel chair you were invisible to most folks.

At a fair I found one that sat you at almost eye level, was fast, highly maneuverable (think zero turn). It had the plus that it handled "off road" very well due to tube and tire wheels.

But it was a trike. I tested it for over an hour and decided that it was pretty stable (heavy battery pack mounted as low as possible), designed to be ridden standing without the seat attached.

I just replaced it. No, not because the one failed, but because they had made significant improvements including all wheel drive and brakes, shocks on the front forks and improved seating.

Waiting for rear suspension and if/when that's available I will upgrade again.
