Vegan Speciesist Song

Help Support Ruger Forum:

That video and the one that followed it are definite proof that vegan's brains are severely damaged beyond hope by their diet. Outlaw veggies.

Some people don't eat meat. I don't drink alcohol, use tobacco and limit eating refined sugar. Does that make me weird to some forum members?

Do you try to push your food choices on everyone else? There's the difference. If they would just eat what they want and not be concerned with what other people eat I couldn't care less about them one way or the other. However, just the fact that they're putting out this kind of song they're trying (and failing badly) to influence people's choices and conveying the message that you're "bad" if you don't agree with them.

My first ex-wife is now a true vegetarian. Veganism is a religion, that eschews the use of animals in any form especially leather, meat etc. She is not an Vegan. Nah as long as you leave me alone to eat as I wish, I won't point out to you, that the vegetables are dead also.

That's the bottom line right there. To many of those that don't (admit to) eating meat seem to think that's cause to think themselves more "noble" somehow and want to lord it over the "cruel" carnivores they met. They seem to forget that on the whole herbivores tend to be less intelligent creatures.

Wow.

A lot of assumptions there.

Project much?

I've stated it before, and I'll state it again.

I've discovered that people's reactions to someone else's personal dietary choice

tells us more about them than it does about the original diet under discussion.

Some people react defensively, and one can only surmise why that's the case.

As for anyone "pushing" a food choice on anyone else, why did any of us here view

the OP video?

It's there to view, or not.

But apparently, everyone responding here chose to view it and to be offended.

Well, good luck with that!

Monty

P.S. I've been "lectured" by non-vegetarians more times than I can count.

I've never once proselytized, nor do I believe that my diet is correct for anyone but me.

And I never broach the subject, but I will always answer thoughtful questions politely.

But then, I'm perfect!

Hi,

Of course it does! Every single one of us does something that others will find odd, weird, eccentric, etc. I don't push my "special" behaviors on you as being the only way to do things, and you respond in kind, we're all good. Get in my face about how wrong I am for not subscribing to your behaviors myself, and a problem's already brewing, big, bad and quickly.

Apparently many of these folks have never heard the old adage, "Live and let live."

I have been saying it for years, and this proves it:
In 100 years (or less) the intelligentsia will be calling us "immoral" because we ate the flesh of poor innocent animals.

Think of the statues that will be torn down when that happens! 8)

Psb1911,

Hold still long enough and you'll be on the barby next while I swill down a cool one, belch, laugh, fart and then yeehaw, the meat is smoked, and ready to eat. By that time of course, forgive if I'm staggering and slurring a little.

Oh, and no veggies.

Yuck.

Well, maybe a potato or two as I'm a meat and potatoes kind of guy all while washing the whole diet down with a strong ale or if I'm feeling especially gourmandish a bit of hearty cabernet sauvignon.

Burp, meat, it's what's fer dinner...

"But apparently, everyone responding here chose to view it and to be offended."

I wasn't offended. What does offend me though is if I'm at the store and buying some of my favorite salami, I don't want some member of the food police jumping on my case. Seems like it's happening more and more all the time. I've taken the stand of mind your own damn business and if they continue my rudeness knows no boundaries.

Come to think of it, my doctor says if it tastes good, you cannot eat it. I ignore him totally. I'm pushing 80 anyway and figure I'm living on borrowed time anyway. Might as well enjoy what I can.

Those are some of the ones I disregard they have their own sins some of which may very well be even worse than what they rail against and then they compound it by thinking nobody has the right to judge their behavior.
