Value on 4" 9mm Service Six...

I came across a LNIB 4" Service Six in 9mm, with the heavy barrel. S/n in the 163- range (I think, can't remember for sure). It has the hinged yellow and black box with end label, manual, warranty card, etc...

What is a fair value for it? I don't know very much at all about the DAs and I want to make sure I don't potentially over pay for it.

Man, we really need some more reference material on DA Ruger revolvers!!!!!!

I've got one in 95% condition valued at $525, so I would think a little more than that for a mint one.

I think the heavy barrel is a bit uncommon on an already uncommon piece. Ser. No. makes it a late one, one of the last 9mm, I'd say. I'd agree that $600 for NIB with the box and everything is an OK price.
We'd like to see photos after you buy it.
