Taterman wanted to read the whole thing, so I scanned it all in. 6 pages per image, fairly large. Every Marine who went thru Basic Infantry at Pendleton got one of these, and I managed to keep mine since then. Keep in mind that this was 1963, so no computer stuff at all. For y'all preppers who worry about an EMP whacking all your toys, you might want to see how it was done back in the day.

I was a LCpl Fire Team Leader during this 30 day training, which consisted of classroom, and blank & live fire individual and unit field exercises during daylight and night. 2 men in our company died during training from snake bites.

Btw, the serial number of my M1 was 4260356 .

Here's the link. Feel free to download: http://s79.photobucket.com/user/43gm94l/library/Marines/USMC%20Combat%20Notebook%201963?sort=4&page=1

I was there early in '67. We had an updated version that showed how to turn our surfboards into field expedient sleds.
