Just tried to connect with the SingleActions.com website (Lee's website) and got the following message from Firefox:

"Firefox detected a potential security threat and did not continue to singleactions.com. If you visit this site, attackers could try to steal information like your passwords, emails, or credit card details."

In further text it said something about a "self-assigned" security certificate; thus it felt there is a security risk. I have no idea what all this means so I'll just keep away.

Anybody know anything further? Members of that website may want to alert the owner if, indeed, this is really a big deal?

The big blue S&W Forum isn’t secure either. Doesn’t need to be. This forum also wasnt with the old software.

I don’t know about the Single Action forum but suspect its nothing serious. Maybe even a setting on your end??

I just went to it with no problems also using Firefox.

THANKS HITTMAN.... will give it another try tomorrow...

yes I remember that the specific S&W site was similar.... haven't been there in years since I finally got hacked and had to buy a new laptop.

For some time I have had to jump through some hoops to get on. Supposedly they had to check to see if things were secure on my end and if I was human.
RichP, I find that happens with other websites when I use my VPN.... I shut it off, then get right in.

The SingleActions website is being blocked by Firefox because of a "self-assigned security certificate". I'll just stay away since I'm not a member there anyway.

I use FireFox,, and I have zero issues with accessing the site. I'm a member there, and I can say it has a group of VERY knowledgeable sixgunners there. Not going there could deprive you of some excellent information.

I agree; it's definitely where the Big Boys are..... Yes, LOTS of good information from very knowledgeable people.

I really have no idea what's going on with Firefox, but I'm too un-techie to figure it out.... I had been accessing and lurking for years... was even a member for awhile but quit when I realized that they were not allowed to do any For Sale advertizing. I understood why, but made a personal decision to sign-off and just lurk. I can live with 'just' our Ruger Forum :)))))

Well, today I tried 'clicking on" the subject website and, Lo and Behold, the Firefox warning was no longer popping up. Looks like I will be able to go back and lurk again.
