Unusual variation of the clear 10/22 magazine I think

The picture shows the mags. There is the normal clear salesman's sample with the amber colored left guide on the far left. Next to it is one with a greenish tint. The one on the right is what is reputed to be a metal prototype. Both the metal prototype and the green tint came from the same guy who worked at Ruger in the early days. He is now in his 80's. He says he believes the greenish one is a prototype also.

If you let the verdigris from the brass shavings build up in a clear one, they'll do that.

I have never seen a green one.

I don't think my laminated green stock 10-22 has a tinted magazine, but it has an odd multi-colored - mostly green - on the bottom clip.

The rifle, but no pics of the magazine.
