Underwood ammo using Lehigh Defense bullet as bear defense?

Any opinions on using the Lehigh Defense machined copper bullet in Underwood's (or similar) loading for bear (brown, Grizzly, black) defense? I know in testing that these bullets in .380 and 9 mm have deep penetration, perhaps too much for home and personal defense against humans.

It might work. But we definately know that the 325gr flat point and the 255gr Keith do.
