Uncle Mikes Holster Size

I'm going to get a Uncle Mike's shoulder either a size 15 or 5 for my SR45. Anyone here use one and what size? I know the #5 is open ended and takes a 4.5 to 5 inch barrel. The #15 is closed ended and takes 3.5 to 4.5 inch barrel, both large frame auto's.

Go to mike`s website there is a list of pistols and revolvers and fitment per gun. I have used it to order , with good results.

The size 15 works great with my Sig P226 or P227 and a SR45 is very similar to them. Size 5 is more for Beretta 92's, 1911's, and other 5" guns like M&P's and XDM's. BTW, I've had one of their original vertical shoulder holsters with the double mag pouch on the off side for years. Properly adjusted and fitted, one can wear it over a T shirt with a sport, dress, or BDU shirt on top and no one will know you are packing. Bob! :mrgreen:
