How rare are these and what is one worth? Saw one for sale today with an older Bushnell Scopechief 3-9x on it, $600. It was pretty nice, a few minor hunting dings here and there, but plenty nice. Scope might be worth $60-$75, so figure $525 in the rifle. Seemed like a decent deal but I let it ride. Got too many bolt guns already.

I owned a tang safety 250 Savage Ultra light. Nice little rifle. When my oldest son could hunt deer I decided to part with it for the newer safety on the MKII. I sold the 250 RL for $600 with rings only. Had about 95% bluing with few handling marks in stock. That was about 4 years ago. I found a .243 Ultra light with factory sights and rings in the MKII and still have it. My sons have taken 4 deer with it and would change their last name if I ever sold it. I would consider buying another .250 RL at that price.
