I ordered a T Grip for my '73 Security-Six on 26 August and received it in the mail today. Two weeks elapsed time. I am assuming the production problems that Tyler Manufacturing encountered as a result of the tornados that hit OKC are now behind them.

I really like the look and feel of Tyler T Grips, but I always had a problem with them moving around on a J frame grip. Actually would scratch the wood grips. So, I stopped using them. I wish they attached more securely than they do. There's a guy on Smith & Wesson forum that sells plastic ones that look just like the Tyler grips except they have 4 tabs instead of just 2. I'm tempted to try them and see if they're more stable.

I've only had T grips on a couple of pistol but haven't experienced any movement once they are installed. I would prefer to buy aftermarket grips but this security six is a 150 serial number and grips, sights and such are hard to find so I figured the T grip was the next best thing.
