My only consecutive pair is two Ruger Old Armies, 48 & 49 of 100. My dad had three Colt SAA's that were consecutive, but he sold them many years ago.

No matching ser #s for me yet, and my only consecutive serials is a pair of earlier 10/22 laminates. Hopefully something in the pistol department will cross my way soon.

Okay, since we all love pictures. Serial numbers on these do NOT match BUT both have an "S". Both "letter" as such too.

Both blued, both 4 inch, both 357 magnum, both low back grip frame, both are Security Six, but one FIXED sites and one ADJUSTABLE sites.

I found one of them because a member here who was on vacation in another state saw it in a gun store and thought of me. A different member here put the other one on Gun Broker.

I have a set of Ruger 1911's with consecutive numbers I bought for my boys. 1 has a double struck logo. I was sort of upset about it at the time.

Turns out my youngest is a budding coin collector. He asked me one day if I had ever heard of a double struck coin? He thinks the double struck SR1911 is something really special.

Here is a thread I started about it at the time. 10 years ago! Wow! Time flies.

" RUGER made in USA" is double stamped on one of my slides. Has anybody else seen that? I'll try to post a picture later. Thanks Ed

Set of Ruger new model Vaquero's in .45 colt, same serial number on both except one is NRAR xxx and the other is NRAL xxx
