I don't know what the situation is like in the States, with the backlog on supply from Ruger, (2 millions units?) but up here in Canada they are thin on the ground. Stores have no idea when they'll receive more stock. I've spent the last two weeks talking to vendors or looking online. Some seem to have stock but really don't, or will place you on a list for when they arrive, or jut tell you to check back in a few months.

Now I know that the convertible models are not as common, but even a stainless blackhawk 357 in any length of barrel is hard to find. I'm hoping for a 6 1/2 inch model, but there's no joy anywhere.

Aer you are having the same experience? Who thought there's be a revolver shortage. Not me, but I guess I should be glad that the shooting sports are alive and well.

Welcome to this forum.

Have you checked the classifieds section on this forum?

Can you directly to a distributor like Davidson's for example and have them ship to your dealer?

Thanks guys. Good suggestions. Getting a firearm across the border takes some paperwork but it can be done.
I'll look into that. (No one bid on that item yet with less than an hour left, but the minimum bid is 635!)
