we were told by others and it has worked for us, NOT to use "bright" background ,nor a busy back ground,,,,,,pastels, plain...we have settled on gray ourselves and works just fine....other wise, no 'spot lights' use 'floods, low wattage...cuts out shadows , and if you cross light ( come from both sides, helps too...........) macro setting obviously to be used on any camera and of course a tripod..................again,nice looking pics
