I used to have a fountain pen that came in a Man from Uncle set. It would squirt water. It was neat to take into a bar and fill it from a pitcher of beer and pick out someone way across the room and let them have it. That thing could shoot so far, they never knew where it was coming from. The man from uncle was my favorite show back in the day . Had set of the WOODEN ones. Also the erector set (wind-up motor) and the chemical set that was good for making 'stinky' stuff. How about Lincoln Logs?
I recall frank lloyd wright's son marketed them, named after ol honest abe. like legos, the set was never big enough...Watched a TV show called Small town Big deal, might he wrong on name.
They went to the factory in USA where they make Lincoln Logs. Factory was known for making wood cigar tips.
Owner of LL wanted to bring production back to USA. Now made in USA. Fascinating.
