Throats size at .430 on new 44 sp nmb, optimum?

Throats size out at .430 and that size bullet don't fall through but a slight push. All even size. That pretty much the optimum for .430 cast bullets? Triker

That'll work. Slug the barrel to make sure the groove diameter is smaller than the throat diameter. I reamed my SBH throats to .431" to get a bit larger bullet for the .4295" barrel. I bought a reamer from Brownells, and reamed by hand. Not difficult, just went careful and slow...

I think you are good to go. Too much mucking around can ruin a good gun.
