A couple weeks ago I found a Lodge Aebleskiver pan at the thrift store. It was in near perfect condition for $5.
I can only guess but I would say the person who took originally bought it didn't know how to make Aebleskivers. I've tried twice now and still need more practice. They aren't the easiest thing to make.
Anyway, just had some for late breakfast early lunch. Basically they are profiteroles made with Pâte à choux dough. Which are French puff pastries. They just have to have a different word for everything
And the pan in question all I did when I bought it was wash it really well and heat it up good on the stovetop to kill any germs. I don't think they make this pan anymore. But it's the Lodge Logic model.
