Thirty Days

Well, I did see Joe Walsh back in 1972 or so, back when the Funk 49 album came out. Then the Eagles back in 1973 or 74 when they were in Omaha. I did see Poco and Dr. Hook live, count in Emmy Lou Harris, Pure Prairie League, lots of others and then Nitty Gritty Dirt Band about 10 times. Allman Brothers Band at Red Rocks, James Taylor at least three times, so many live shows, always a good time.

Steve Miller, 2 songs from his most unkown and the best one-sided album ever.. Rocklove

And yes I lived in the Era of hot curvy girls, faster cars, and the best music

Then there's the finest red-haired slide guitarist ever, Bonnie Raitt, playing with my favorite (and world's best) harmonica guy, Norton Buffalo. I was lucky enough to find out about him (thanks Rolling Stone) and see his progression as he began with Steve Miller, with his bands from the Desert Horizon album on, and a number of times, with a guitarist and his wife, shortly before he passed at our local Arts gallery.

The Pride of Sonoma County
Norton Buffalo and The Stampede

Next, we're off to San Francisco for Quicksilver Messenger Service

One of the most bada$$ fusion bands ever....You're playing this album on 8-track in the Chevelle with your girlfriend tucked under your arm, cruising on Saturday night.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you East Bay Grease from Tower Of Power!

Of course there was all the classic 1950s cowboy country (Johnny, Merle, Willie), the rebirth of country in the 70's (Charlie Daniels, Molly Hatchett, Atlanta Rythm Section), Southern Rock (Allman Bros), Raw blues (B.B. King, Johnny Winter, Albert King), English rock (Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac, original Rolling Stones).. and my favorite sonic brotherhood, Jeff Beck and Jimi Hendrix.

This is Jeff Beck Group with Rod Stewart on vocals, Nicky Hopkins on keyboards, and Ronnie Woods on rhythm guitar.
TRUTH - Stellar album, not a bad track on it.

and the closer....
THE Undisputed King of 70's sonic,
The Stratocaster-burning,
Master Of Eardrum Disaster,
James Marshall Hendrix..
Aka Jimi..... Mike drop
(I missed this show by one day; Loved Hendrix, but I chose to be front row for the shows with Ike and Tina Turner.. wow was she beautiful and the belt, I mean short skirt she wore... wow wow wow. I was 14, which would you pick?)

Like it or hate it....those are are my picks and musical memories from the 60s and 70s in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Your Mileage May Vary

I stumbled across this one from Jimi Hendrix a while back. A little different from the stuff he was known for.

THAT is a gem... my favorite part is "hey wait a minute, can we do that again?" What would you say if he asked you? 😂
The whole "Blues" album is good also. Not the standard Jimi fare.
