Thinking of a PC Carbine

Help Support Ruger Forum:

To use for HD and just fun shooting. Does it offer any advantage of a semi-auto in the same caliber? What attachments are recommended? I live in a socialist state so am limited as to what I can purchase.
Hey y'all, just joined and this is my first post. I purchased a PC in 40 a couple of years ago. I am a fan of iron sights and right out of the box, the PC is accurate as hell. Not thrilled with the iron sights, but I still find it easy to find the target. I got a Tacticon red dot and it comes with an offset mount so it sits off to the right. The PC will also allow for another scope mounted on center without interfering with the iron sights as well. I guess the 40 is no longer available. Glad that I got one. I have shot about every type of ammo and zero hangups. I even shot some nasty aluminum cased ammo and again, zero issues. I am extremely happy with the reliability of this PC and in my opinion, that trumps everything. An all around nice weapon, especially for the price. Well done Ruger.

" An AR pistol chambered in 300blk with subsonic ammo is quiet and danged effective."
We've harvested several deer with this combination. Good ammo is a plus. Good results with GORILLA sub-sonic and keep range under 100-120 yards.
😂🤣😂🤣 How about 450 Bushmaster subsonics??? I run 500gr 45/70 bullets through the sizing die. It's also perfect for those 10rnd mag states.
