Nothing like stomping on that old foot switch with a few $&#@@$# chosen words when some fool refused to dim his lights. There was satisfaction in that. Luckily those floor switches were pretty rugged.floor mounted high beams.
I cut and fit a bar of Ivory soap to fit the mug, then give it a generous splash of Bay Rum and let it soak in. Works OK.Doesn't fit my mug, nor does it have the same fragrance. I've been using Col. Conk soap of late.

They were another East Coast brand. I have seen the Hess brand here in the St. Petersburg area, but it’s been a while. Another victim of Marathon.Never heard of Hess stations either but I have only visited about 30 of the States.

They still make those. I bought these at a Stater Brothers Super Market.Stick matches you could strike about anywhere not just on the box.
