electronics came down because they are designed to fail more often, making you have to buy another one. so, in a sense, an old tv made to last 40 years, is still cheaper than new ones where you buy 3 to last the same time frame....and dont forget annual inflation price increase every time you buy. nope...im sticking to my b&w tv. and rca record player and shopping thrift stores for vinyl.

Our daughter worked at Dland in college. She took her son to Halloween there and people she knew who were still working threw handfuls of candy into the grandsons bag. He got so much candy the had to use a second large bag. He's not a big candy kid so they gave most of it away to trick or treaters in their neighborhood.
