I like to be up, in my tree stand, 40 minutes before sunrise, so things can quiet down a bit. I always look forward to the crack of dawn.

Besides the beautifull sunrise, all I saw were a flock of turkey, 3 toms, and 4 hens. 2 of the toms had beards 8-9 inches long. No deer sightings, but still a good day ! :D

Hopefully, tomorrow will bring more hunters to get the deer moving. I know where I'll be :D .

Watching the world wake up is one of my favorite parts of hunting!

The best part of hunting is being out there in the absolute silence.
Even if you dont come across anything. :D

Most beautiful & peaceful time to be out in the woods ... only wish I still had the gumption to get my ol' butt out there that early more often!
Seems like the older I get, the more I appreciate my warm bed on my days off from work.

You know i hear that only 1 out of 10 people see a sunrise in a year. Boy they sure are missing out. What do you think?

I dunno about other people but I see lots. I don't know how you can have a fulltime job and not see sunrises in the northern parts of the country where the dawn and dusk change times so much.

I can't find one from my morning commute. :( So here's a couple from fishing a while ago. I'm not trying to threadjack but I figure everyone must like looking at sunrise pictures even if the camera was on a weird setting that made everything extra green.

Wow... I really often wished I lived in a rural place. I don't remember what silence is like anymore.
