Had purchased the stainless on Saturday and taken it to the range-was looking for the TALOS Blued version-and found it locally . It too is now mine. To the poorhouse!!!!

Are both receivers steel?

Yes-none of the cast stuff --just test fired the Talo Blue Hunter at the smith's and broke it down and cleaned it. The thing is definitely custom -it even has polished magazine lips to make the piece feed and eject the mag easier-As it is my daughter's 26th Birthday today-I just purchased her the 22/45 Hunter SS 6 7/8-she knows her daddy is into Rugers and I want this for her to remember my love for her-and me-when I am 6 feet under-she and I will go to the range and break in her BD present when I make the 600 mile round trip
