Gentlemen,
I picked up a copy of "The RugerMania Album" Vol. l, No. I, Inaugural Issue by Jim Cale. It is a grey two pocket folder with Silver Foil cover. On the inside front pocket is a Gold Foil sticker which is numbered #49 and
signed "James G. Cale" Signature Issue.

Inside the front pocket are six "Ruger Cartoons" hand drawn by artist
Rik Villegas. These were the first of six in a series of forty-two.

The cover of the Album its self is dated 4/18/83 and signed "To Edward F.
Rockstroh (?) by Jim Cale. Inside is an Introduction page followed by
Two short very humorous articles, then a very informative article on
Ruger Eagle Ceramic Ash Trays & Steins (RCA). The next section is called
"Eaglebeak, Do You Know? which discusses Super Bearcat's in the
91-33000 - 91-37300 range, "five" different variations of ROA
nipple wrenches, Colorado Centennials, Italian Walnut auto pistol grips,
and the one I found most interesting Gold Mining Pans with a Logo very similar to the Colorado Centennial one. They were serial #ed and the editor owned #'s 2335 & 2336, he was trying to find out who made and
distributed them. This was followed by a Survey & Traders Cornor. There
are 22 pages front to back.

In the rear folder pocket were a RCA Membership Application & merchandise order form, a four page "Wilsons World" Custom Ruger
Belt Buckle order form, an order form for Dougans new book (then) "Know you Ruger single Action Revolvers 1953-1963" and last but not least a two page listing of guns for sale by Leo Shuck.

Can anyone tell me just how long this publication ran and Volumes were written? I would appreciate any info you "Old RCA" guys  might have.
Thanks for looking & your help in advance.
Terry

I've seen those cartoons loose, by themselves, but never the whole enchilada. Neat!

I remember stumbling onto the Wilson's World Rugermania web site when I was a novice collector and bookmarking the reference pages on the memorabilia. Then one day I went back to check something and got this message:

WMG,
Here's a few more pictures.

Hawkeye28,
The cartoon picture of the "Ruger Field Trip" was the feature article of
this publication which poked fun at some well known Ruger Collectors.
Here are the names mentioned;

J.C. Gunnel, John Dig-In, Hugo Studious, Glen Demascus, Joe Pioneer,
Ronnie Convenience, Col. Mel Bogie, Bud Flackjacket, Nancy Padlock,
Ray Wienerschnitzel, Alan Wiesenheimer, Art Lettuce Pray, Lane Whitebox,
Ray Morethan, Don Commemorative, Neal B. Buckle, Joe Showman, Steve
Fogey, Larry Belly, Gary Tidy Bowel, Rank Millions Jr. and last but not
least "Mosquito Skeleton". It is a funny article Mike and I hope the names make you smile!

Chad,
Thanks for the info. I remember learning from ubme (Shawn) about the
existance of these a couple of years ago.

Next question does anyone have a copy of Vol.I No.2 ????

I remember doing this in my early days of Ruger collecting. But now I have so many they all look alike to her. :)
