Should the PGA broadcasts just change its name to The Tiger Woods show? That's all they show and talk about. I'm surprised they don't follow him into the bathroom. We changed the channel numerous times. The many golfers doing better than him got so little TV time it was ridiculous.

The fact that you find talent and ability more important than the fact that Woods is a Negro shows that you are the worst kind of racist!

Listening to golf commentators fawn over Tiger Woods seems to be standard operating procedure for PGA tournaments . I have often wondered how they coped during the period when Tiger wasn't playing. Did the networks provide cry rooms, Play-Doh and coloring books for their employees? It's amazing how they impart a positive spin on any bad swing or shot Tiger makes.

You have to admit that Tiger has always had a big following. The coverage probably just reflects that, unfortunately. I wonder how much the PGA has to do with it?

Quite frankly, golf is BORING!. My idea of golf is to lay on a grassy knoll with a sniper rifle and pick off those golf's before they go down the hole! AKA shooting golf.

They got kind of quiet when Tiger dumped that 6 iron into the water on 15 and took a big fat double bogey. Most non golfers love Tiger and to be honest he brings a lot of people to the course and ratings to the networks. Golfers on the other hand had just about all they could handle after his ex bounced that 9 iron off his skull in 2009. The commentators are going to go nuts if he makes the cut at Augusta. You're going to get your fill of him even if he's 15 strokes back on Sunday.

The greatest golfer ever was on yesterday too, doing some commentating. He's been married to Barbara for nearly 58 years.

Do they ever show the Tiger mug shot? What has he, 1 or 3 DUI? I like the time he crashed Cadilac. Guess tv could interview his ex-women for comments.

I live next to a golf course. I have a bucket of balls I find in yard. I have had windows broken, dented my truck with a ball. Nice not having traffic driving by, tho

I think the Tiger comeback is a compelling story, probably the most compelling story in golf today.

As for this:

Nope the greatest is Tiger. Jack was dominate .. no doubt, but his competition was shallow and his win loss record can't match Tiger's

IMO

Yeah, I bet Arnold Palmer, Gary Player, Lee Trevino, Billy Casper, Sam Snead, Tom Watson, Julius Boros, Tom Weiskopf, Hale Irwin, Tony Jacklin, Raymond Floyd, Tony Lema, Hubert Green, Dave Stockton, George Archer, Johnny Miller, Jerry Pate, Peter Thompson, etc etc etc. would just concede at the first tee rather than tee it up with Tiger. Trevino probably would ask Tiger if he could caddy for him.

Don't kid yourself.

As far as win loss records, Jack has 18 wins in the majors and 19 seconds. Tiger is now 42, at that age Nicklaus had 17 majors, Tiger 14. For a 8 years or so Tiger played as good as anyone ever has but was he more dominating than lets say Byron Nelson who won 11 tournaments in a row and 18 in 1945. Hogan and Snead were in most of the fields too.. So how about him.

For 8 years or so Tiger was the greatest player on the planet. For a career Jack is the greatest ever.

depth of field rules IMO Sure there are some fine golfer that you listed but generally other than the HOF'ers you mentioned none were serious competition other than " catching lightning for a week". Week in week out theeir was slim chance of a win. Today the delta between the top and the 50th is much tighter.

Fun debate . Still I'll take Tiger over Jack

I love the way the Tiger lovers always say Jack was playing against club champions and 8 handicappers

It's pure BS. For every Orville Moody of Jack's Era there's a Shaun Micheel for Tiger's.

Not entirely.

It's a bunch of over-paid, self centered people,
that like to dig holes in the grass.

Just watch any of them, with any club other than
the putter, and watch a HUGE chunk of grass go
flying, as they swing.

That is the way it is properly done
