I said the Colt 1851 Navy was the best, because of it's balance and natural pointing ability. The 1860 Army has a larger grip with a slightly different shape. when Colt introduced their 1873 Single-Action Army, they went back to the '51 Navy grip frame, and that's the one most single-actions imitate today.

The grips on the Mark Series/Luger/Nambu may be straight (because they house the magazines), but the angle comes close to matching the SAA, and that's why people find them to be better single-handed pointers than most semi-autos. However, when you bring semi-autos up to eye level for a good sight picture, with either a one- or two-handed grip, the 1911/22/45 is better (and the Mark II/Luger are usually pointing HIGH). It's all in the wrist, like pointing your finger.

Ruger GP100 3" with rubber grips. It feels right in my hand. More and more, I've been favoring my Glock 19. I've only had it a few months so maybe its because its still new.

1858 Remington was so good Ruger copied it!!!

Learned to shoot on a 1911 and a HiPower. Still love both. But the best fitting for my big meats is the full size HK45.

Although, some of the RWGripframes are making my Blackhawks contenders.

The 1858 Remington grip was very small at the top. I liked the top strap, but HATED the grip. I also found that I could barely get 50 rounds through the Remington before it became impossible to rotate the cylinder by cocking the hammer. That was the gun I traded in to get the '51 Navy. Colt's Navy had a grooved cylinder pin that gave a relief space that the fowling could go into rather than locking up the cylinder. That gun I could shoot all day.

When Remington brought out their 1875 cartridge model, they changed the grip to be much closer to Colt's, because that was what most people wanted.

Sig P229-CS, I bought it online and apparently they didn't know it went through the custom shop.
I prefer the P229 over the P228 for the extra slide weight to manage recoil better.
I also keep my carry P224 loaded with ARX for the same reason.

I have pretty large hands and smaller handguns just aren't very comfortable for me.
The best feeling handgun to me is a 1911 design followed closely by SA revolvers with Colt SAA clones being slightly preferred over Ruger BlackHawks. I get along with large frame DA revolvers like L and N frame S&W and Dan Wesson revolvers quite well also.
They all feel very comfortable in my hands, seem to point naturally and the weight of the big frame revolvers never has been an issue for me even with the 7-1/2" or 8-3/8" barrels. Probably because I have large hands and am 6'2" and weigh about 220lbs.

I have a brisley single six. The bisley grip is just about perfect, and since it’s a single six as opposed to a larger Blackhawk, the weight is reduced. The balance is just spot on.

But I think also the regular ole’ CZ75. Not too big or bulky, not too heavy, and the grip is the perfect length and perfect angle. Plus it’s a very nice looking gun overall.

Those two come to mind right away.

Is that the Chinese export model?
