We called them flippers. 1956 Olds. Which I had on my 53 Ford Vic. Chrysler also had some nice flippers 1956-57 ??????

I later sold off the Olds "flippers" and went with the '57 Plymouth smooth conical types . . . more on the lines of moon discs, but with a little more style.

Yep those be the ones.
Now the full Racing Moons were a dull /polished aluminum. They were also popular in the 50s. I think they covered the whole rim.
