Penny and I went Old School last night. She still has VCR tapes from the late 80's and on until they faded out. She hooked up her old VCR/DVD unit a couple days ago, and we watched The Cowboy Way last night starring Woody Harrelson and Kiefer Sutherland (1993). Wow they sure looked younger. So happy I still look like I did in 1993 and don't appear to have aged at all. Sorry for them though.
I had forgotten the fun or rewinding to review a scene and watching the actors speed move and talk in reverse. Simple minds like mine are easy to amuse. Don.

I'm waiting anxiously, I've got Three DVD's with all 27 episodes of VICTORY AT SEA on them and all digitally enhanced. Loved that program when it originally aired and watched every episode.
PS: LOVED the Music for Victory at Sea and could play the opening notes on my French Horn from memory.

just brought 50 vcr's to goodwill. all worked, just stuff we don't watch anymore. I like looking at the cars when they were new. my 86 olds was brand new when I was married. funny to see it in vcr movies.
btw... it still runs....just like my marriage!

Ha Ha, I've got a full set of Star Wars and the Godfather in video caset.
Also have a perfectly good VCR that I have not used in decades.
Also have The Sound of Music, unopened.

We still have a turntable record player, an 8 track VCR, and a DVD player. Still have untold numbers of 78 records, many 8 track tapes, to go along with our small number of DVDs. All still function.

I use a VCR and I have caught up on my movie watching by using it. Ha, ha, this is funny--- I watched Dumb and Dumber, for the first time about a year ago--- and I did the same thing with Saving Private Ryan. Yes, I am a sad sack, but I am OK with that.

I have all the "Gunsmokes" from the very beginning on VCR tapes. Sure wish I had them on CD's.
All 20 years? That's quite an investment.

It was one of those club things where they send you one every so often. There were four "hour" episodes on a tape and I think eight 30 minutes on other tapes.
