The new RUGER 44 special??

So I tried a search but unfortunatley (or rather fortunately) my shooting vastly exceeds my computer savvy skills.

Is Ruger going to produce the 44 special flattop? I see it's in the catalog.
Does anyone know if they are shipping yet?
Can you make orders for them yet?
I would assume that all the bugs, if there were any, with the Lipsey rugers have been worked out after the production run of what....2000 guns?
Any input?

Yes, the blued 44 flattop that was a Lipseys exclusive is now a regular catalog/production item. Some have reported "in shipment" (at least to dealers); others are waiting to hear. In addition there are two additional flattops that have been announced -- both Lipseys again I think -- stainless flattop 44 and a Bisley .44 -- both made on the mid-frame.
