I remember about 15 years ago buying 700 rounds of Turkish 8mm ammo. $40.00 plus tax delivered to my door. It came in cloth bandoliers. 10 bandoliers with 70 rounds in each. Corrosive primers, in stripper clips, all like new and packed quite a wallop even in a K98 Mauser.

I have 1 bandolier of .303 British in stripper clips. It came in a sardine type can. I forget how many bandoliers in a can. I also forget what I paid.

It was about 30 years old when I bought it, 30 years ago!

One of the sad ironies of living to a ripe old age is that we have such a terrible time paying today's prices for ammo, components, gasoline, Lear-Jet parts/maintenance (and all the other basic life necessities) because we REMEMBER THE OLD DAYS and the prices we paid; Life is difficult !!!
