I have an Italian friend he would call fog “A bigamist”

My aunt used to say that fog was “a cloud with low aspiration.” Or sometimes just “A cloud that didn’t make it”

When I think about fog, I think about Bruins hockey in the old Boston Garden. Sometimes you couldn’t see across the ice let alone from goal to goal.

Anyway be safe out there.

Never experienced the fog there, but did have one of those "View partially obstructed" seats one time…can’t see much from there either with that huge support pole in front of you.

I was at Reelfoot Lake some years ago when there was a heavy fog. I stood on a boardwalk and could not discern a horizon nor any place along the shoreline. I could not tell how far I could see ahead of me. I stretched out my arm to see if I could see my hand at that length. I could, but remembered hearing stories about pilots who became disoriented and flew their planes right into the ground.
