Good find.

Those are delightful rifles to hunt with. I grabbed one last year. Hope yours shoots as well as mine!

It was hot and sweaty at the range today, and it was hard to see, but I was getting three rounds into one inch at 50 yards with scope set to 4X and a terrible rest.
 
may I ask how is the eye relief with that scope? was thinking of mounting that exact optic on an RSI in 7x57 that I have coming, was curious if it worked with standard rings or if I would have to buy a set of offsets.

On 7x I need to strain to get my eye close enough
I suggest offset, but make sure they are high enough so that the bell clears the front of the quarter rib.

Redbeagle, I have that scope on my 1A 35 Whelen. I used double off set rings. Single off set would probably be handy too.

Thanks for the replies, I used double offsets on my 1A with a little Burris 4x and figured I would have to do the same on the RSI, glad to have confirmation.
