Here's a 1966 LW Commander and 1924 1911A1 I rebuilt from nonfunctional junk a few years ago. The targets prove they shoot just fine now!

Hmmm... I've had three Para Ordnance's, four Springfield Armory's, a Taurus, an RIA and a Kimber.
I'd say that I am a 1911 fan.

Nice 1911s, gents. Sometime before too awful long, I plan on getting a Springfield stainless Mil Spec GI and doing some minor mods. Even though I love my Glock 21 duty gun and would love to be able to carry a GP100 on duty, if my Chief changed policy to allow cocked-and-locked, a good stainless 1911 would be my ultimate duty gun.

A Colt Commander with an A-4* engraved on the grip! Be still my heart!

*(Is than an E, F, or M model? Kinda hard to tell from the photo.)
