S&W Model 25-2 45 ACP/Auto Rim. 1976 Only a hint of a turn line on the cylinder. Exceptionally clean. Have yet to shoot her as I'm trying to track down some Starline 45 Auto Rim brass to test with 45 acp loads.

Nice! Brownell's has full moon clips if you desire to shoot 45 ACP rounds thru your Mdl 25.

Got the moon clips and plenty of 45 acp rounds... just trying to set up with the 45 Auto Rim. Heck of a time to try and find brass! lol

Good Luck on the 45 Auto Rim brass. Had a heck of a time finding any quantity at all when I bought my Mdl 25 several years ago. Suspect it's semi obsolete these days since not many new 45 ACP revolvers are being made these days.

Got 500 45 Auto Rim cases on "back order" with Starline for a month now. Who knows when as these are "different" times. Moon clips and 45 ACP rounds will fill the time I guess. Whatever, my 25-2 is a classic, clean, and beautiful and deserves to be shot.

That's a BEAUTY, Preacher! Congratulations! I searched for many years for a 25-2, finally found one in the late '80s, and just a few months later was offered another one, so I bought it too! Oddly, one has a 6" barrel and the other is 6.5". I hope you have many years of happy shooting with it! :wink:

Well, I hope she's a shooter as I'm going to shoot her. Heard there may be some issues with the cylinder/throat dimensions... We'll see. But By God she is as they were made to be made "back then".... lol
