Tang Safety 77RSI .250 Savage

I just clammed on to an unfired 250 77RSI for a paltry sum. I have learned that it was shipped in 1987. I need some good loads for Hornady 75 grainers, and for Nosler accubond 110's and Hornady roundnose 117's.
This is going to be a sweetheart.

That is pretty sweet. I had one for awhile and have regretted selling it for years. I finally broke down and bought one in 243 since I hadn't seen many 250's and none south of a war pension price. I don't recall any specific loads but I do remember that the barrel lenght did affect the velocity pretty severly. I would suggest sticking to good 100gr bullets unless you are limiting your self to 250 yards or so. have fun.

Nice rifle!

As much as I like controlled round feeding of the newer guns, I love the tang safety more.
