Before I even fired the first shot. It's been a while since I had a Ruger 22 pistol apart so it took about 1/2 dozen tries to re-assemble but it wasn't as bad as it might have been. Would have been better if I hadn't oiled the snot out of it before finding my package of bushings bought about 2 years back.
I hadn't noticed my other Mk3 22/45 pistols being so difficult to get the mag in and out but this new one was really obstinate.
Does the 22/45 LITE use the same bushing? I bought 3 TK bushings back when I had only 2 MK3 pistols and now we have 4 Mk3 pistols(3 steel and one LITE). Someone's going get left out.

Yes, the bushing is the same for the 22/45 and the LITE.
I had the same problem with my LITE. The magazine release retainer was not installed correctly. It was an easy fix. You can watch the video on the Tandemkross website about changing out the magazine release.
