Talo race rifles

Does anyone know if Ruger built any of the 10-22 "talo race rifles" with stainless barrels and actions? Don't believe the hammer forged barrels could be made in stainless... :?:

I'm not sure what a "talo race rifle" is, but Ruger made lots of stainless 10/22 Target models with hammer-forged barrels.

1st version was blued. I believe both 2nd and 3rd were SS.

The first actual "race rifle" was blued, the second one was for the 2008 USST and also blued. Number 3, was the broad stripes USST one and that one was in stainless with a hammer forged barrel.

They were just the stock, making it unique. All the other parts were bone-stock Ruger parts with zero modification. It wasn't a true competiton rifle at all but looks cool with a tough laminated stock.

I don't know the answer to your question, but I have a 10-22 with a hammer forged barrel, I believe it is stainless. Not sure what else it could be.
