Wes Studi is still with us.I recognize a lot of them. I think Kris Kristofferson is the only one still alive. Great character actors!

I have "The Informer" taped. We were going to show it on St Paddy's Day, but we got too drunk on Bushmill's Black Bush! Watched The Quiet Man" instead (also with McLaglen).I still remember that original 'D.O.A.' as I watched it as a kid in the 50's. Must have made quite an impression on me since O'Brien died at the end of the movie. Have not seen it since.
Bob Steele 'Duffy' on F Troop was a leading actor in his early movies. Whenever he got into a fight with a bad guy, he was always punching towards their stomach. He was a short, but good looking actor with curly hair.
I got the book, "Names you Never Remember, With Faces you Never Forget" from the library a several weeks ago. Interesting!
While many might be 'character' actors, there are a couple who won 'Oscars' for their acting ability. Victor McLaglen for Best Actor in "The Informer" (although my fave movie of his was his role in 'Gunga Din') and Thomas Mitchell Best Supporting Actor in "Stagecoach"
i was mildliy active in the Native American movement in the 1980's and a Cherokee friend got us tickets to the Native American premiere of "Dances with Wolves". First time my wife had NdN Tacos! Studi was there and I got a chance to talk to him for a few minutes. Costner stood us all up. Met him later and he was an arrogant jerk!Wes Studi is still with us.
Ken Curtis is on the top row.Because of my age and having watched AMC, and now TCM, they are ALL familiar to me (and my wife). Several, at least, are missing. Such as Ken Curtis and Gabby.
Angel and the Badman I like to watch for two reasons. Harry Carey who mentions his horse's name: Jughead and the most beautiful Gail Russell!I just learned the name of a "Also starring....." actor, Olin Howland. Know him? He was the one bragging how well he knew Quirt Evans (Joh Wayne) in "The Angel and the Badman."
