So- how close to a brushed brass look is the finish on the grip frame?
Looks similar to the gold/brass anodized trigger guard on my bearcat. The painted one looks good just more of a solid color instead of the transparent anodized finish.So- how close to a brushed brass look is the finish on the grip frame?
My goal with my question is that I am trying to find a way to make an aluminum grip frame look like brass. Why not just use brass? I want to keep the weight down.In hand, it is easy to discern the frame is coated to look like brass.
But, what does one expect when the entire gun costs less than a genuine brass frame?
No doubt. That would be a heck of a deal!They can't use brass and sell it for under $300

I've got some aluminum grip frames from Ronnie Wells and I'd like to get them to look like brass, if possible. I'm not too optimistic though…
