Has anyone shot both .45 rounds and .410 birdshot
through the .45 Choke?
I realize the pattern might spread out sooner with the larger
Choke.
It sure would be convienient not to have to switch each time!
I don't plan on shooting maybe 100 shots per year through her.
What do you guys think?

Single shot pistol/May want to take your choke out for lead bullets. Size could vary from .451 to .454. Had a TC Contender 45/410 a few years ago....manual stated remove choke for lead bullets :D

If you shoot shot without the choke installed the pattern will spread like the flu. The rifling spins the shot cup and it will pattern all of 5 feet at 5 yards, at 20 yards you'll have a 20+ foot pattern, worthless. If you shoot a 45 slug through the choke it will tumble and keyhole the target, obviously zero accuracy and if using a solid copper or FMJ could damage the choke/barrel. You MUST remove the choke for bullets and install for shot, period.

Welcome to the Forum.
I think a lot of us aren't familiar with the gun in question. I too thought of the Llama when I saw this post. Details on the gun,, (especially pics) please. We love to learn something new!

Wow, how long before they get hit with a trademark lawsuit?

the Single shot looks interesting. Are they in use among silhouette or target shooters?

Have talked with (worked with also) people that have shot these and from what I recall, in or out, shot or bullet, it's still a wide open pattern after shooting. Just weren't exactly up to par in performance in those it followed (Competitor, TC, etc)
