Super Blackhawk Hunters

I got incredibly lucky. After a WTB on the Ruger Society Forum, a member there sent me a link to an auction that had a number of Ruger's, all ANIB, including both the .41 and .45 plow handles, as well as both in Bisley. I was able to get both, so I have (or will soon) the trio, plus the Rimfires (not the .17 convertible, just the HMR). I'll post family pics once I get them in!

And the hunt begins for the .17 convertible! :D
I know where one is... I just don't know if I can convince him to give it to me (not sell, GIVE).

Yeah, it would be cool to have the convertible, but I am a collector/accumulator, not a collector. All of my guns get shot (except for one that I hope will do well in 30+ years). I love the .17HMR and had two other in that caliber (RAR and NM SS). I do not need another caliber!!!!!

I answered Ty's .41 question in a PM, but the short version is that I don't really know, RENE has some numbers that add up to 540 in 2003-2005 but then mentions a few later ones in 2007, and the one I showed above is the latest of them all so far, shipped in 2011.

I am shipping a .17 convertible Hunter today, I had two and sold one recently ;)

The .45LC had the same thing. Most shipped '03-'05, with some leftovers shipping later. I wonder if the total numbers are similar.

I decided to try and go straight to the source!
