I had one, sold it to get the Bisley model which I thought felt better. Unfortunately the Bisley version killed my knuckles shooting it. It was a big mistake selling the Blackhawk. It shot as well as my performance center Smith and my FA83. It's a great hunting gun.

Sadly, I would not expect to see any new Blackhawks or Super's on a dealers shelf. The dealers dictate what we can buy, and their minds are closed.
Even then, it is Ruger's decision to make more or not. I know of one Lipsey's model in .327 that there are only 12 of. I'm sure Lipsey's has a standing order for at least 250 but Ruger is uninterested apparently... they are more interested in churning out other Ruger models with lower GP, which is interesting because Ruger's GP for the last several years has been going down.... more guns, less profit.

I have observed many bisley stainless steel models becoming available on GB in the last couple of weeks, including in 357, 44 SP & MAG, & 45 Colt.

I have not seen any Hunter models YET but it appears that Ruger is building Single -Action revolvers again for sure.

I have seen a few Bisley Hunters in 44M but not 45 colt.

And Mike Reber who used to give us great deals on Rugers here on the forum is great to deal with! (See the link that NikA provided above!)

The email I got from Lipsey's this morning shows they currently have .44 Mag Hunters.

"Silly me sold my Bisley Hunter 45colt."

Gee,, "Seller Remorse" has once again reared it's head!

Keep looking,, you might get lucky,,,,,, one of these years!

This is why I don't like to sell anything. I have experienced buyers remorse only once, but I have been living it for 50 years. I to this day regret selling an Auto 5 I bought for myself on my 16th birthday.

I have Hunters in 41, 44, and 45Colt. The 41 is a plow handle. The other two are Bisleys. I hunt and have taken Alabama white tail with all three.
