My friend had a Ruger LCR Ser# 540-05453 stolen from
his locked vehicle early Monday in Fremont Ohio. Police report
has been filed. Used LCR's are not common around here yet
so I thought it was worth a shot for the Ohio members to be
on the look out! Thanks in advance for any help.

That is a bummer! I do not have any kind of a sticker that could indicate that I own guns on my car. I feel that such a sticker would be an advertisment for theft.

That's my biggest fear. At least he had the SN# on it. I take pics of mine and name the folder on my computer with the make, model & SN#

Gav,

What if they steal your computer as well as your guns?

Print the gun info off, hide the sheet, and hope they don't find it.

Always good to have a copy in a fire safe. I've also got what I call a "gun tracker" in Excel too. Make, model, caliber, serial number, where it came from and what it cost me.
